At Success Family Center, we strive to empower and support children diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum and their families through the provision of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.

Located at 2040 Viking Drive NW in Rochester, MN, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters growth, independence, and meaningful success. Our dedicated team of bilingual (Somali, English) expertly trained therapists, including a Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Qualified Supervising Professional, and compassionate support staff, work collaboratively with families to ensure comprehensive and tailored care.

Our Team




Daud Hassan

Owner/CEO

Daud is a longtime Rochester resident, community leader and organizer. During his extensive involvement with youth in Rochester, Daud recognized a pressing need for specialized support and services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Motivated by his firsthand experiences working with youth affected by ASD, Daud saw the potential for a center that would address this need while offering bilingual services to accommodate the diverse population in the community. Under his guidance, the center continues to expand its services, reaching more individuals and making a profound difference in their lives.

Alexis Waldin

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Alexis has worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities since 2004. She earned her Bachelor Degree at UW-Stout in Vocational Rehabilitation with a concentration in Special Education Counseling in 2012. She went on to pursue her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Cloud State University in 2013. In 2015, shortly after graduation, Alexis passed her board exam and is currently a practicing Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She supports Success Family Center as the Advanced Certification Holder/BCBA ensuring the quality of the programming and therapists are exceptional. She has worked with a wide variety of individuals ranging from 18 months to 21 years of age. She has expertise in communication development, behavior modification, life skill development, medical compliance, social skill development, staff training and management, and organizational practices.

Ayan Ali

Level 1 Supervising Manager

Ayan is a Level 1 Supervising Manager. Ayan received her bachelor’s degree in International Studies with an emphasis in International Politics and U.S Foreign Relations with a minor in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Shortly after, she joined Teach for America and became a licensed K-6 teacher. She previously worked as a 2nd-grade teacher at Prodeo Academy and supported scholars with ASD. She is currently obtaining her master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Ayan's dedicated to ensuring that all children reach their full potential.

Deeqo

Level 1 Supervising Manager:

Deeqo is a Level 1 Supervising Manager. Deeqo received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Minnesota along with a minor in Public Health. She previously worked at Mayo Clinic providing care to patients from many different populations including children. She is currently obtaining her master’s degree from the Saint Marys University of Minnesota. Deeqo is passionate about bridging gaps in health especially in education for caregivers and children.
